About

I’m not a doctor or a nutritionist or a scientist or a psychologist. I’m just someone who’s been there and found my way out the other side. These are my thoughts and experiences, and I hope they help someone somewhere find their way out too.no-one-should-fear-food

I went on my first diet at 13, calorie-counted my way through high school and started purging in college. Spiraling between restricting and bingeing, I was fighting a battle with food that intensified every day as more and more “safe foods” became my enemies.

At 25, I heard about the book Intuitive Eating and figured well, what the hell. Following their advice, I allowed my body and brain to reset by eating whatever and whenever and however I pleased for the next few months. Nobody could be more surprised than I was when it totally worked.

Freedom from disordered eating and food anxiety has enriched my life more than I could have ever imagined, and it’s gonna blow your mind too.

Wherever you are, know that you are not alone. You got this.
